SAAB

Modern training equipment for soldiers.

When Saab Training System asks Creator for help, it is usually the case that they want a number of fully functional “prototypes” within just a few months.

In parallel with software and hardware building, our design department takes the lead in shaping, conceptualising and designing the new product.

The unit is 3D-printed, filled and painted in our dedicated prototype workshop, or sometimes injection-moulded in soft, relatively inexpensive tools. Circuit boards, batteries and advanced sensors, used in conjunction with software, turn the product into a fully functional unit.

The units, which must be compliant with MIL standards, are tested and delivered to Saab, where they often end up being used in the field under operational conditions.

The equipment is used for training soldiers. This equipment must simulate real military conditions without posing a risk of injury.
